Snapper Mania

We had a really good day today. The weather was perfect and the sea state was flat as I have ever seen it with big a slow ground swell. I’m looking forward to the rest of the week being about the same. We fished in 110 feet of water way down to the west on some natural bottom for big red snapper. The bite was slow in the beginning but picked up around 9 o’clock when the big boys started chewing. We managed to put a pretty good box of fish together. The total was 52 pounds for six fish. That’s not bad. We hooked a couple of Grouper but could not seal the deal, that’s fishing.
